Make any sized slipper.
Using Chunky Yarn
4.5mm hook (reduce hook by a half size, based on what the suggested hook for that yarn is)
Work in rounds
Magic Circle (MC)
R2: inc in each st- 10dc
R3: *1 dc, inc in next st, repeat from*
R4:* 1dc in next 2 sts, inc in next, repeat from*
Make further increased rows for larger feet. I increased another round when I made myself a pair of slippers
R5-15 (10 rounds) dc in each st
Now work in rows. ch1, turn, dc in next 14 sts
Continue for a further row 15 rows.
Join seams as shown in video, using dc's in the next few stitches.
Please check the slipper on your child before darning in the ends to the seam.
Join the same coloured yarn at the back of the slipper and dc in each stitch around, making sure you miss a stitch at the front left and front right of the slipper. Fasten off, darn in ends.
Add in a new colour. Dec 4 times with equal placement around the slipper (see video for help on this) Continue for 2 rows. Fasten off + darn in ends.
